The development of the Maus super-heavy tank was started in 1942 by Ferdinand Porsche.
As a result, two prototypes of this tank were built.
They were tested from 1944 to early 1945.
Series production of the mouse never began.
In April 1945, both prototypes were blown up as the Red Army approached the test site.
Nevertheless, a captured mouse was rebuilt.
