British Army Centurion Mk.III

The Centurion MK.III was the second production variant put into service by the British Army.
A Besa machine gun as a coaxial weapon and a 2 inch bomb launcher in the turret distinguished this version.
There was also a loading hatch in the tower.
The British Army's 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars, equipped with three squadrons of Centurion Mk 3s, landed at Pusan in November 1950.
