The Russian fire support vehicle BMPT "Terminator" is a versatile tracked combat vehicle with high maneuverability.
It is based on the chassis of the T-90A tank.
30 mm automatic cannons, 7.62 mm machine guns and an anti-tank missile system are mounted on the turret. Two 30 mm grenade launchers are mounted on both fenders of the front hull; explosive reactive armor modules are mounted on the front and both sides of the hull; the crew consists of five people.
It can cooperate with any tank in battles in different conditions.
Its advantage is especially evident in urban battles.
The development process of the BMPT was marked by ups and downs.
Research began in the 1980s. However, it was suspended several times for various reasons.
It was not until 2002 that the real BMPT made its debut. Due to its diverse weapons and powerful appearance, the BMPT is called the "Terminator".
