The Type 59 is a main battle tank first produced by the People's Republic of China in 1957.
It entered service in 1959 (hence the name) and is still used by several nations today.
The Type 59 was a copy of the Soviet T-54 tank series and received several modifications and simplifications in its design.
Still, no one can deny the effectiveness of this tank and its fighting tradition, even without all the Soviet technology.
