Although the original version of the Marder entered service in 1971, it is still in use today and has proven to be a resilient and adaptable vehicle.
As the main weapon system of the Bundeswehr's Panzergrenadier troops, it was in use with a number of over 2,000 units at times.
Used martens were delivered to Chile, Indonesia, Jordan and Ukraine.
This kit represents the Marder 1A2 with the MILAN anti-tank missile system.
