The K9 Thunder is a South Korean 155mm self-propelled howitzer designed and developed by Samsung Aerospace Industries for the Republic of Korea Armed Forces and now manufactured by Hanwha Defense.
As of 2017, Finland received 48 used K9s from the South Korean Army.
The howitzer is designated K9 Moukari in Finland.
In 2021 Finland ordered another 10 vehicles.
