The LVTP-5 (Landing Vehicle, Tracked, Personnel) is an amphibious armored fighting vehicle used by the Philippine Marine Corps, the Marine Corps of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and formerly the United States Marine Corps. It was designed by the BorgWarner company and built by FMC (Food Machinery Corporation) along with a few other companies. It first entered service in 1956. 1,124 base vehicles and special variants were built and many saw action during the Vietnam War.
