The M113 is an infantry fighting vehicle whose development and deployment began in the 1960s and which is still in active service today.
It is lightly armoured, air transportable and normally floatable.
In addition to the two crew members, it can transport up to 11 soldiers.
It is available in countless variations and variants.
The variant ACAV (armored cavalry assault vehicle) was a reinforced and shielded variant for the Armored Cavalry, which was first used in the Vietnam War.
