The Oshkosh M-ATV is a mine-resistant vehicle (MRAP) developed as part of the MRAP All Terrain Vehicle (M-ATV) programme.
It is designed to replace the M1114 HMMWV and offers the same protection as the larger and heavier MRAP.
However, the M1240 is much more mobile and agile than the larger variants.
This version is equipped with the CROWS II (Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station).
