U.S. Water Buffalo LVT-4 (late type)

The Landing Vehicle was a tracked amphibious vehicle used primarily by the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and in smaller numbers by the US Army and Allied forces during World War II.
Constructed exclusively by FMC, the LVT-4 was an improved version of the LVT-2.
Unlike this one, the engine was installed behind the cab, which allowed the cargo space and the installation of a badly activated rear ramp.
The enlarged cargo floor makes it possible for the first time to transport small vehicles such as the Willys Jeep and even a 105 mm howitzer.
