The M36 was an American tank destroyer used during World War II.
Due to the shortage of starting M10A1 chassis, it was decided to complete the production run by mounting M36 turrets on M4A3 Sherman chassis with the necessary internal modifications.
Production of 187 90 mm Gun Motor Carriage M36B1 ran from October to December 1944.
