The T-34 was a medium tank made in the Soviet Union.
It was built from 1940 to 1958 and used by the Red Army mainly in the German-Soviet War.
The machine-building plant No. 183 was relocated from the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv to Nizhny Tagil in the Urals. After merging with the Uralvagonzavod plant, the Ural Tank Factory No. 183 was created there.
