The M3 Stuart was an American light tank of World War II.
It was used by US and Allied forces until the end of the war.
3427 vehicles of the M3A3 (British designation: Stuart V) were built.
This version was developed to integrate the hull improvements of the M5 tanks into the M3 series.
The turret received a rear overhang to accommodate the SCR-508 radios.
The welded hull featured 20 degree sloped armor.
