In 1944, the German armed forces used a new heavy tank - the Tiger II.
The first fifty examples were produced with a Porsche-designed turret, after which a Henschel turret was used for mass production.
The King Tiger, equipped with an 8.8cm L/71 cannon and armour of up to 150mm at the front and 80mm at the sides, posed a major threat to Allied forces during the desperate German offensive in December 1944.
The DKW NZ350 motorbike was produced from 1940 onwards, and later in the conflict some examples were seen with a smaller headlight and slimmer mudguard
