The Sturmgeschütz III was the most produced German full-tracked vehicle of the Second World War.
The E version was produced from September 1941. A total of 284 vehicles were built.
These vehicles were to be used optionally as platoon leader gun or battery commander gun, so that a mount for radio equipment was necessary.
The vehicles carried 50 rounds of ammunition and an MG 34.
Optical equipment included a self-propelled telescopic sight 1, a scissors telescope 14 Z and a panoramic telescope 32.
The vehicles had a 10 watt transmitter and two ultra short wave receivers with a loudspeaker.
