The Sturmtiger was a heavy German assault gun built on the chassis of the Tiger I and armed with a 38cm assault mortar.
The official German designation was Sturmmörserwagen 606/ 4 mit 38cm RW 61.
Its main task was fire support for infantry units involved in local and house fighting.
The few vehicles produced were mainly used during the Warsaw Uprising, the Battle of the Bulge and the Battle of the Reichswald.
