The VW Type 2 (Bulli - Bus & Delivery Van) was first built in 1967 and enjoyed great popularity. Its 4-cylinder petrol boxer engine produced 47 hp and gave it a top speed of 105 km/h. The bus variant offered space for 7-9 people. The panel van (transporter) had around 5m3 of space for loading.
