The GAZ-66 is a Soviet and later Russian all-terrain 4x4 military truck manufactured by GAZ.
It was one of the main transport vehicles for the motorized infantry of the Soviet Army and is still used in the countries of the former Soviet Union.
Nearly a million vehicles of this type were built for both military and civilian purposes.
The GAZ-66 has achieved legendary status in many countries around the world due to its reliability, simplicity and off-road capability.
From 1993, a new loading platform without wheel arches with increased internal dimensions was installed.
Production was discontinued in 1999, and the GAZ-3308 was produced instead.
