This truck was suitable for both passenger transport and the transport of light artillery and featured a unique 6x4 independent suspension with all-wheel drive, which allowed a speed of up to 70 km/h.
In 1936, the power of this truck was increased from 55 hp to 60 hp with the development of the L2H431 version.
This latter version underwent various improvements that made it possible to tow a 3.7 mm PAK 35/36 anti-tank gun.
Some units started to mount their anti-tank guns on the flatbed and install temporary armour "In the field".
