Italian/ German 508CM "Coloniale" Staff Car

The 508CM Coloniale was a military passenger car used by Italian and German troops during World War II. With a light two-wheel drive, excellent suspension and a 32hp engine, it showed a top speed of 90 km/h. It was used on a variety of fronts, most notably in the North African theater of war. It was often used for liaison service and reconnaissance by Italian military officers.
After Italy's surrender in September 1943, the German army captured and used large numbers of Coloniales; some were upgraded to German specifications.
