LAV-25 SLEP is the modernized version of the LAV-25, where SLEP stands for Service Life Extension Program. The vehicles got new armor, the new Bushmaster gun and a lot more. Similar to the LAV-A2, however, they do have differences. The LAV-25 SLEP was used extensively in Iraq (as illustrated in Concord Booklets #7521 and 7517).
