US Tank Destroyer M10 mid production

The M10 was numerically the most important US tank destroyer of World War II. It combined thin but sloped armor with the M4's reliable powertrain and a reasonably powerful anti-tank gun mounted in an open-topped turret. During World War II, the United States was the primary user of the M10 tank destroyer, but many were supplied to the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Free French forces.
