Panzer IV Ausführung H - late production

The Wehrmacht relied heavily on its workhorse, the Panzer IV, during the Second World War.
It was produced in numerous variants.
The H version is often regarded as the most sophisticated.
With its long-barrelled 7.5 cm gun, it had impressive striking power.
The tank was fitted with skirts to provide additional protection against anti-tank rifles.
Between April 1943 and February 1944, around 2300 Panzer IVs of the H version rolled off the production line.
