The VBL Véhicule Blindé Léger ("Light Armored Vehicle") is a French 4x4 wheeled all-terrain vehicle.
Long chassis vehicles (VB2L) can carry MISTRAL ALBI, in a lightweight 360° rotatable turret.
The system is optimized for protecting armored or mechanized units, as well as convoys.
MISTRAL ALBI is designed to carry out all the usual air defense tasks such as point defense, close-in defense and especially mobile unit defense.
Six or more missiles can be carried on the vehicle, including two on the turret.
