The V-1 flying bomb (German: Vergeltungswaffe 1) was an early cruise missile and the only production aircraft to use a pulse jet for propulsion.
Towards the end of the war, several piloted V-1s - known as Reichenbergs - were built.
However, these were never used in combat.
