This large demining helicopter is used by various special forces of the US Navy and the Japanese Self-Defense Forces.
The Sea Dragon is a version of the twin-engine CH-53 that first appeared in the 1960s and is widely used by the Marines and in special rescue versions by the US Air Force.
Thanks to the outstanding performance of its engines, this helicopter has sufficient capacity to carry the heavy demining systems mounted on a special hydrofoil launched into the sea to detect mines.
