Convair F-102A Delta Dagger (Case X)

The F-102A Delta Dagger, designed and manufactured by Convair, was the first all-weather supersonic interceptor and also the first aircraft in the world to use the "Area Rule".
There were two different wings for the F-102A: the "Case X" and "Case XX" wings.
The F-102As were mainly used in North America, while a small number of them were stationed overseas during their service.
F-102As also served in the Vietnam War.
After their retirement from the U.S. Air Force, some of the F-102 aircraft were transferred to the United States Air National Guard, others were sold to Greece and Turkey.
