The Tornado is one of NATO's most successful and versatile weapon systems and has already proven itself in many conflict situations.
At the beginning of every conflict, RAF Tornados equipped with ALARM guided missiles are among the first Allied aircraft to fly into enemy airspace on their dangerous air defense mission.
Afterwards, other Tornado units can safely follow and carry out precision bombing attacks on enemy positions. Thanks to the large 2250 liter additional tanks, the RAF Tornados also have an exceptional range.
The top speed is 1340 km/h at a height of 150 m.
