Kampfgruppe von Luck (Normandy 1944)

On June 9, 1944, the "Kampfgruppe von Luck" was formed under the leadership of Hans von Luck, which consisted of the Panzergrenadier Regiment 125, three assault gun batteries, a tank destroyer company with 8.88 cm cannons, and a battalion of infantry.
The combat group attacked the Orne bridges in order to recapture them from the British paratroopers.
