The Jaguar 1 is very efficient, specialised in anti-tank warfare and with an accurate HOT guided missile system for targets up to 4,000 m. It is a further development of the Raketenjagdpanzer 2 on the same chassis as the Kanonenjagdpanzer and was introduced in the 1970s as an important part of the German Bundeswehr.
