Crusader Mk.III - British Cruiser Tank Mk. VI
BT-012
BORDER MODEL
1:35
Equipped with a Christie suspension with large diameter road wheels, the Crusader had remarkable handling characteristics over rough terrain.
The first versions of the Mk. I and Mk. II were armed with a 2 pdr gun, later replaced by the more powerful 6 pdr gun on the Mk.III.
Lacking adequate armour against enemy fire, it was also very vulnerable to enemy mines and anti-tank guns, and its armament was often inadequate against similar German vehicles.
However, when used in a coordinated manner, they achieved good results.
