One of these medium-sized trucks in the 3-ton class was the AHN with a payload of 3.5 tons.
The prototype was presented in February 1940. Its design was quite simple, with a flat cab without a hood.
Series production began in March 1941, in Boulogne-Billancourt, specifically for the German Wehrmacht.
Many AHN trucks were in use by all German armies until the end of the war, both on the Eastern Front and in Italy and France.
The modification of the truck, designated AHN2, then went into series production.
The Wehrmacht also used the vehicle as a kitchen truck by attaching a field kitchen to the loading area.
