In 1935, the Italian company “Fiat” developed a small scooter called “Topolino” (Little Mouse) for the average family.
It had a 569 cm³ 4-cylinder engine that could reach a speed of 85 kilometers per hour.
The car has been produced since 1936. Although it has enough capacity to carry five people, the factory initially sold it only as a two-seat version.
Fiat's decision soon proved to be very successful.
In the same year, the "Flash" factory in France produced the same type of car called "Flash 5" based on the "Fiat 500 Topolino"; and in 1937 the German NSU factory also used the same model. The factory was co-producer of the sedan.
At the beginning of World War II, many of these vehicles were used for military purposes.
The Italian Army and the German Wehrmacht often used this vehicle on the battlefields of Europe, North Africa and Russia.
After the liberation of Europe, this car was still used by the Allied forces in France and Belgium.
