The M3 was an American half-track infantry fighting vehicle that was widely used by the Allies during World War II and the Cold War.
Developed from the M2 half-track, the M3 was produced on a large scale, with approximately 15,000 infantry fighting vehicles and more than 38,000 variants being produced.
