
The Sd.Kfz. 251 (Sonderkraftfahrzeug 251) was a German armored half-track infantry fighting vehicle from the Second World War built by the Hanomag company based on the unarmored Sd.Kfz. 11 half-track vehicles were developed.
The vehicle was designed to transport the Panzergrenadiers in battle.
With at least 15,252 vehicles and variants produced by seven manufacturers, the Sd.Kfz. 251 the most frequently produced German half-tracks of the war.
The variant 251/10 was the medium gun armored vehicle with the 3.7 cm PaK 36.
