The Ordnance Quick-Firing 17-pounder was a 76.2 mm anti-tank gun developed in the United Kingdom during the Second World War.
In conjunction with the APDS projectile, it was capable of penetrating the armour of all German tanks of the time.
The gun was produced from 1943 onwards and was first used in the African theatre of war - here still on the mount of the 25.pounder gun.
