The Buffalo MPCV is a modern American mine clearance vehicle. The basic version is powered by a Mack ASET AI-400 I6 engine with 450 hp. The vehicle's armament is usually a single machine gun caliber: 12.7 mm or 7.62 mm. It was based on the South African Casspira but differs significantly from the original in its six-wheeled chassis. It is also characterized by a specially shaped V-shaped floor, which increases the crew's chances of survival at the time of a mine detonation. A special gripper arm is used to clear mines.
