
The Sd.Kfz. 251 (Sonderkraftfahrzeug 251) was a German World War II half-track armored infantry fighting vehicle developed by the Hanomag company based on the unarmored Sd.Kfz. 11 half-track vehicle.
The vehicle was designed to transport the Panzergrenadiers into battle.
With at least 15,252 vehicles and variants produced by seven manufacturers, the Sd.Kfz. 251 were the most widely produced German half-track vehicles of the war.

The Wurfrahmen 40 was a German World War II artillery system. It combined the SdKfz 251 half-track vehicle with rocket artillery, creating a more mobile, robust artillery piece than the Nebelwerfer.
The weapon consisted of several frames attached to the SdKfz 251, which carried 30 cm explosive rockets.
28 cm explosive rockets and 32 cm incendiary rockets were also used.
