The Bergepanther was a recovery vehicle used by the German Wehrmacht in World War II.
It was based on the Panzerkampfwagen V Panther (Sd.Kfz. 171).
From 1944 onwards, the Seibert company converted around 60 Bergepanthers, without winch and tail skid, but with all other equipment, onto the chassis of older Panther Ausf. D.
