Two demanding (model making) friends
Giuliano Malservisi and Gian Pietro Parmeggiani already had a faible for the hobby of model making in their youth. Little by little they had the ambitious idea to produce something better than the model kits they had bought so far.
In 1962, with a lot of passion and enthusiasm, they founded the company Italstamp, which produced their first own model of the Italian fighter plane FIAT G55 in 1:72 scale under the name ALIPLAST in 1968.
Italian colors and propeller plane as logo
A short time later the company name was changed to ITALAEREI, then finally to ITALERI.
The typical logo with the stylized propeller plane in the center, framed by a red and a green band is unchanged until today. It is meant to symbolize the bond with Italy and the passion for aircraft models.
All model making categories in the ITALERI range
At ITALERI a lot of time has always been invested in research and historical research to inspire the modeler for their products both in different scales and in the best detail and quality "made in Italy".
